The file is closed when the branch is created, I think the file has to be open.

The file should open automatically. If it didn’t, you can open it manually either from the button on the branch list or from the Monitor window.
To troubleshoot this issue, could you navigate to the logs tab in the Project Workspace and take a screen shot of the debug logs?

JteixCode: I see that this log is about the _main file. Does the log for the _dev file show any errors in the step "Opening..."?

And for future needs, you can open, close and connect to the files directly from Devin in these two ways.
